ANIMATRONICS
The Core Crew’s animatronics team is headed by CCFx founder,
Paul Pistore.
Paul started working with animatronics professionally, on Tim Burton’s Batman Returns, as a penguin puppeteer and technician.
He was trained on the job, by the heads of Stan Winston’s amazing animatronics team.
Paul has worked with legends like Stan Winston, Rick Baker and the incredible team at (ADI), to name a few.
With credits like Alien Resurrection, Men in Black 2, My Favorite Martian, The Last Samurai and many others, Paul and his Crew are ready to bring Hollywood level creativity to life for your production.
SABRETOOTH
ANIMATRONIC PUPPET
Scientists create a genetically engineered sabretooth cat and must hunt it down after it escapes and begins eating innocent people.
Paul Pistore, CCFx Founding member worked on this film as an animatronics designer/builder and puppeteer. The animatronic Sabretooth cat puppet was operated by 8 people, including one performer inside of the creature. Paul was responsible for all of the animatronic facial movements and attaching the realistic skin to the understructure he’d built. Although the film was poorly reviewed, the Sabretooth cat stands as one of the most realistic animatronic animals ever built.
